Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising (in some laws called the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information). You can do this on our Your Privacy Choices page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser and device, where the law of your place of residence provides for this. We do not respond to other “Do Not Track” signals.

Relationship with Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information about your use of the store in order to provide and improve its services. Information you submit is shared with Shopify and with service providers that may be located in other countries. Shopify also uses information about your interactions with our store, with other merchants and with Shopify to provide certain enhanced features; for that processing Shopify is responsible, including for answering requests to exercise your rights. To learn more, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or visit the Shopify Privacy Portal.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process information outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. In that case we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or their UK equivalent, unless the country has been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.

How long we keep your information

  • Order data: 10 years, as required by law
  • Account data: until you delete your account
  • Analytics and marketing data: as described in our Cookie Policy

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before
  • Receive your information in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@milacantes.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will reply within the time required by law. Exercising your rights will never affect how we treat you.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt), or the authority in the country where you live. You can find a list of the data protection authorities in the European Economic Area here.

Children's data

Our website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Engraving details you provide may include a child's name or date of birth; we use them only to make and deliver your order. If you believe that a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
